What Causes Watery Loose Motions During Pregnancy?

hi doctor....... i am pregnant of 7 months old... for last 1 day i ve been suffering from heavy watery loose motion. Baby movement is also can not be feeled now because of heavy bowl, gastritis problems.... i am also taking regularly tablets for iron, calcium, folic acid as prescribed by my doctor.... Now at this moment what should i do? Is my baby safe? Is anything serious or harmfull? Please advise.............

Hi,

Loose watery diarrhoea may be secondary to food poisoning or viral infections. Mostly you only need to keep your body hydrated by taking a lot of fluid, better is ORS. But if it's too much I would advise you should go to ER for assessment as sometimes IV fluids are needed. It's better to go to ER also to discuss the less baby moments. But don't get panic.
