What causes watery diarrhea?

Have had diarrhea (first bout watery; subsequent bouts not watery). No nausea, no vomiting, no loss of appetite. Has been 3 days now. No one else around me is sick. Wondering if this is just a gastro.....there is no abd pain, bloating or blood in stools....

Thanks for your query.

You have most likely been suffering from acute watery diarrhea due to viral cause.
Viral diarrhea is a self limiting disease which will be resolved within a short time without any medications. But you have to drink oral rehydration solution (ORS) as much as wanted after each purging to prevent dehydration.

Hope this will help you.
Take care and get well soon.
