What Causes Vomiting Post Gallbladder Removal?

Is it common to throw up multiple times a day after you have had your gallbladder removed? I had my glaablaader removed about and month ago. Over the past three weeks I havent been able keep food down and constantly feel the need to throw up. I am miserable. I also am under a lot of stress with my job. I am trying to decide if this is related to my gallbladder or my stress. My surgeon said it was normal and it was my bodies way of adjusting. There is nothing normal about throwing up 5-10 a day. Thanks for the help~
