Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,

Flagyl can cause stomach upset, nausea, headache and a metallic taste. Having an amoeba also does not usually cause vomiting. But for children, and I don't know what age you daughter is, sometimes just being nauseous is enough to cause vomiting when given food. Please continue to give her water or fluids so that she does not become dehydrated. I would check in with your pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lisa Baker, Pediatrician
