What Causes Vomiting During 4th Month Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 4 months pregnant. In my first trimester I experienced bad morning sickness but as of lately I have been feeling fine. In the last two days I have been vomitting frequently and unable to keep any food down. Could I be experience a stomach bug, food poisoning or could there be something wrong with my baby?

Hi,
As this vomiting is of a relatively recent onset, infection should also be considered and so is indigestion. As the uterus enlarges into the abdominal cavity, it pushes on the stomach and as a result, it becomes difficult to eat a full meal and also to digest it. Electrolyte imbalances, urinary infections and abnormal blood pressure are the other conditions that need to be ruled out. Please check with a physician for proper management. Take small and easily digestible meals. Wish you good health.
