What Causes Vomiting And Diarrhea With Blood In Stool?

My daughter called me to say she has diarrhea with blood in her stool and she is throwing up. It started about noon today and has gotten worse. She ate two hard boiled eggs this morning. I m thinking she may have gotten some food borne illness. What do you think it might be?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
What your daughter is having appears to be gastrointestinal infection with infective diarrhea. For vomiting, she need to take tablet Domperidone.
Kindly ask her to take a course of tablet Ciprofloxacin with Tinidazole for diarrhea. Increase tour intake of fluids to keep yourself well hydrated. Consume diet which is soft and easily digestible.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best and wish her speedy recovery.
