What Causes Vomiting After The Intake Of Food In An Infant?

Hi, my 19 month old has recently started occasionally vomiting with no fever and no appetite changes. When it happens it is always a couple of hours after a meal. Last night I noticed that his stomach appeared distended after dinner and he was unusually fussy at bedtime. Then he woke up 2 hours later throwing up. He has also recently started a part-time daycare (this is the start of the 3rd week of daycare). These vomiting episodes have happened 4 times in the past 2 weeks. I am wondering what the cause could be and if I should take him to his doctor.

HI

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your child such symptoms could be due to allergic condition may be kind of food allergy, in my opinion you can try "Diphenhydramine" and this need to be given according to weight, if the condition does not comes to normal then you need to consult pediatrician there child may need some investigation, hope this information helps, take care.
