What Causes Vomiting After Having Doxycycline For Chest Infection?

So I have a severe chest infection. Was prescribed Doxycycline 100 mg by A&E. Took up to 6 tablets over a 3 day period. Ended up vomiting so stopped tablets as I assumed an allergy of some description Have started wheezing and still have infection. Advice would be helpful

I appreciate your concern, nothing to worry.
Vomiting is one of the important side effect of Doxycycline can produce which can be prevented if taken after the meals. Since you have not completed the course of antibiotic and the symptoms are still persisting you are advised to complete the course of anitbiotic. If your symptoms still persist then consult your doctor.
