What Causes Vomiting After Drinking Alcohol?

The last few times after drinking alcohol I vommited. I understand it s normal if you drink too much, but it s even after just half a beer and a few minutes later I will puke or sometimes the next morning. This past time after drinking I vommited just white foam. I have never had a problem with drinking alcohol before, but I was recently diagnosed with laryngeal reflux. I was wondering if the vomiting was normal.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem of vomiting after intake of alcohol can be due to Laryngopharyngeal reflux. Taking alcohol can stimulate this again. Taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole and motility enhancers like domperidone for long term will be helpful to clear this. a consultation with a Gastro enterologist is well appreciated.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
