Hi,

I was given your query and will help you. The most common causes of visual disabilities in children are nearsightedness and farsightedness. Also:

- injury to the eye
- nutritional deficiencies, such as lack of Vitamin A in the diet
- cataract
- glaucoma
- diseases of the optic nerve
- retinal diseases

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
