What Causes Vibrating Sensation In The Arms And Legs?

I have been experiencing a vibrating shaky feeling that feels like starts in my mid back but, it is from my neck down and feels like it runs down the back side of my arms neck and legs. The feeling is similar to sitting next to someone on a bench that may be bouncing their leg, or if you are standing close to a machine or something that is running and you can feel the vibration. This feeling is making my legs and arms feel heavy and weak, I am also experiencing stiffness in my joints my fingers, wrists, elbows and knees. the shaking and vibrating feeling I have been having off and on for about 2/3 months but i felt that it may have been a pinched nerve in my back however, it is becoming more frequent and lasting longer. at first it was sporadic off and on throughout the day now, I m walking up with it, going to bed with it, I m concerned that this is way more than a pinched nerve with the intensity and duration of what I m experiencing

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These symptoms do not look like because of pinched nerves as that generally produce pain or numbers in some part of the body. These symptoms may be related to drugs, certain brain disorder, or nutritional deficiency or autoimmune disorders.

Sometimes these may be related to stress and anxiety. So I would suggest seeing your doctor, these do not look to be because of pinched nerves.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
