What Causes Vertigo Along With Tinnitus?

Jan 28 diagnosed with vertigo, symptoms lasted about 4 days. First week in March - vertigo lasting 2 days. diagnosed with bppv, epley performed. 2nd week in March - vertigo lasting 2 days bppv, had dr visit, epley performed. 3rd week in March - vertigo, 2 dr visit, epley performed both times. and still experiencing symptoms 11 days later. but the symptoms have changed, ringing has started in my left ear, balance issues when walking, head feels heavy and noise sensitive. vision issues..sometimes it feels like I can t focus and sometimes like it is blurry. Should I stick with the ENT/DO doing the epley or should I see a neurologist or another specialist.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Recurrent vertigo in spite of Epley says this may not be a case of BPPV. Addition of tinnitus, heavyness in head and ear, vision disturbance indicate the need of further clinical evaluation by another ENT Surgeon as a second opinion or a Neurologist and undergo the following tests:
MRI of brain and specific reference to the ear and eyes.
This may give you the best possible diagnosis and correct symptomatic and may be a curative treatment.
If there is any surgical cause such as tumor or cancer you may need surgical treatment.
I find this answer helpful
