I was infected with chlamydia on may 4, and was prescribed by my doctor with azithromycin which was one dose of two tablets taken all at once. She recommended me to go see a gynecologist for further check up and they confirmed that it was chlamydia. I informed them that three hours after taking the medication I vomited and also had complications of diarrhea. So they prescribed me with doxycycline, which was a seven day period of taking two pills a day, for seven days. A month later taking that, I noticed a little discharge and SPOTTING , but I can t tell the difference wether it was just from me ovulating. I missed my appointment which was June 8, and now my next in July 19. Four days in a row I ve noticed spotting and its very frustrating if how often I d have to constantly change my underwear. My question is, is the chlamydia gone now? After taking TWO different medications? Or those symptoms are just a way of saying that its cleaning itself after a bad cold ??
