I I have went through menopause or am still going through it. I have been spotting for a couple of days. A few months ago I had a dnc. Why would I start spotting again. There also was a spot the doctor was concerned about and took it out. She said I was fine.

Hello,

Vaginal spotting is the common thing happening to the postmenopausal women. Since you say you had gone to gynae and they have done D and C and found out that nothing is wrong. Then you need to wait because it happens to many women and it is a very common condition.

If you are still worried, then you can get DNC again to know what it might be the previous spot as you say. You can even get an ultrasound done to rule out other uterine or ovarian anomalies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
