What Causes Vaginal Spotting During First Trimester Of Pregnancy?

Hi. I m 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant and yesterday night I went to the bathroom and had a very light pink tint left on the tissue. For the rest of the night it was clear. This morning when I went I got a brownish blood and about 4 hours later it is getting a little bit redder but still dark. In not bleeding out it s only when I wipe after using the restroom but my stomach feels uncomfortable as well not actual cramping just feels..weird. However that could be due to my extreme worrying right now!! Do you think I m miscarrying or ....?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Vaginal bleeding during first trimester of pregnancy could be due to threatened miscarriage.
I suggest you to consult your gynecologist at the earliest.
The possibility of threatened miscarriage should be ruled out.
A pelvic examination and ultrasound abdomen should be carried out to look for any evidence of threatened miscarriage.
In case the bleeding is due to threatened miscarriage, appropriate measures can be taken and it can be controlled.
However, if threatened miscarriage concerts into inevitable miscarriage, then it is not possible to control the miscarriage.

Thanks and take care
