General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Variation in menstrual cycle is common problem. It is also possible that stress can cause change in menstrual cycle.

Sometimes medications like anticoagulants (warfarin, heparin), antipsychotics or antidepressants can cause irregular menstruation.

No need to worry, if this happens occasionally. If the problem persists for next 3 to 4 cycle, then consult gynecologist to rule out any other pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
