What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Tenderness In The Breasts?

I have had spotting on and off (started out kinda brownish and now more pink/slightly red for almost two weeks and tender breasts and period never came when due(my last period was Feb 9 but also again on Feb 21) I am 45 going on 46. I have also had a recent injury(fractured ankle)and alot of stress... I have taken several ept and clear blue easy hpt that have ALL come back negative. Just took one yesterday morning on April tenth...could this be an ectopic pregnancy or just messed up cycle due to injury and stress?

Hi, I think it can be perimenopausal symptom. But do a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound to see the uterus and ovaries to find out any other cause of irregular periods. Sometimes it can happen due to stress also. So, you can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Consult a gynecologist for complete examination and to rule out any cervical pathology. Hope it helps.
