What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Dark Bleeding While On Alesse Pill?

I am on alesse birth control pill and i just started it about a month and a half ago. I took the first 3 weeks of pills then skipped the sugar pills and went straight to the next pack due to scheduling around activity. when I was supposed to start my period I started spotting then it turned into dark bleeding and still has not stopped. I m still taking the normal pill and it seems to be the same. how long will this last? is this normal?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, hormone medicine causes the irregular bleeding and the symptoms would be more frequent or likely if it is taken in erratic manner, now be patience it may take some time to come around, depends upon the hormone changes taken place but it will be okay sooner or later and no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
