General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Most important causes are
1. High blood pressure.
2. Inflammation of the prostate/seminal vesicles.
So, blood pressure needs to be checked and brought under control.
Urine and semen culture needs to be checked and treatment started if there is an infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
