What Causes Vaginal Pain During Pregnancy?

I am currently 30-31 weeks pregnant and am having sever vaginal pain with no discharge or cramps. I have had 2 children prior to this one, the first of whom was preterm. The pain I am experiencing is most severe whenever I roll over if laying down/sitting, or if I stand up and start walking. Is this cause to worry?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

I do not think this is anything severe, but I cannot say so without a complete check up. During your next check up, if the ultrasound and all other values return normal the most likely cause for the pain is your reproductive system preparing itself for delivery which is not far from now. Some believe this is a sign of preterm labor, but only time will tell.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
