I am feeling pain while having an intercourse for last one month. I only had it thrice in last 1 month and it pained a lot when the penis first got in. But there is no other symptoms in me. My period is regular and I have no other physical issue. It s only hurting while having sex and there was a gap of at least a week between the intercourses. And this is first time it s hurting like this. It s like I have an injury inside my vagina. Please help
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Based on the description, there must be some problem you could be having in vagina, which is causing pain during intercourse. The following could be the reasons, which needs to be evaluated. 1. Lack of enough lubrication causing mucosal injuries and muscular spasms due to certain amount of low grade infection. 2. Presence of infected Bartholincyst. 3. Inflammation of cervix, termed 'cervicitis' causing pain during penetration. You need to undergo per speculum and clinical examination of the affected region by consulting Gynecologist to look for the cause. Accordingly, it can be appropriately treated.
