What Causes Vaginal Pain After Insertion Of Tampon?
Hi. I m a virgin and I used a tampon for the 1st time today. I had a very difficult time trying to get it inside. It took me 3 times to finally get it in. I cried because it was painful. It was very uncomfortable and I couldn t sit down in a comfortable position. When I got home I took it out but it was very painful. I get home around 3:30 and it s now 10:30. I still have the feeling like its still inside but I know I removed it. Is this normal and when will this feeling go away?
Hi, It seems that inserting of tampon in virgin vagina is always painful as there is likely of getting injury in vaginal membrane resulting soreness and infection. It is not advisable to use tampon in virgin vagina having intact hymen. Apply antibiotic cream locally for 2-3 days. Keep local hygiene proper. Ok and take care.
