What Causes Vaginal Itching?

I ve been having itching on one side of my labia minora for about 3 months now and I will not go away. I scratch so much that I will cut my skin with my fingernails. I went to my obgyn and got tested for herpes and it was negative. I went back to my regular doctor and he said it doesn t look like herpes and it could be contact dermatitis. He then prescribed a steroid and anti fungal cream that doesn t seem to work at all! Im really scared of what it would be. Please help me. No one is really giving me answers

Hi, I think it can be a bacterial infection also. You need some antibiotics along with antifungal drug. You can use vaginal pessary of antifungal and antibiotics for 7 nights. Talk to your doctor regarding this. hope it helps.
