What Causes Vaginal Discomfort After Bowel Movement?

I feel discomfort in the vaginal opening after a bowel movement. My urine culture and vaginal swab tests were all negative - no yeast either. I feel a slight burning and my Gynecologist prescribed steroid creams and ointments but none have helped totally.

Hi thanks for asking question.

Noted your culture report is negative. So chance of urinary tract infection is very less.

Rule out pelvic inflammatory disease like features by ultrasonography of abdomen.USG will be helpful with CBC.

Meanwhile follow below instructions...
-Drink more and more water
-fruits taken more
-avoid excess spicy and junk food
-green leafy veg useful.
-avoid stress

Also examination your vaginal area.If erosion or inflammation present then it might lead burning during micturition.
So according to examination by gynecologist it is treated if inflammation or erosion present.

Wish you good health.
