hie Doc, am a young lady of 30 yrs, got a 7 yrs bby gal, my question s i ve been xperiencin vaginal discharge which is not normal n sumtys rash dat itches.. and sumtyms its colour s greenish bt no smell.. i been to da different clinics dey gav me same thing,(Doxy, flagyl or metrodazole) bt stil no change, mind you am strictly using a condon..i read sumwhre saying masturbation can b da cause, i used to mastubate long back now i don`t..dis discharge makes me uncomfortable to have sex coz sumtyms it comes thicker lyk sour milk, i don use soup der nor foam bath infact afta bathing i use lean water...pliz i nid help bcoz my sex life s suffering.

Hi,
the cause for the discharge may be infection. I suggest you to get the discharge tested by wet mount, koh mount, gram stain, culture, and also a vaginal examination by a gynecologist. Better treat the cause at the earliest as it may be bacterial/fungal/parasitic infection.
