Hello,
Vaginitis is often a recurrent problem and with insufficient and incomplete treatment it tends to recur again and again. Also, the treatment should be aimed not at the female partner alone but also the male partner. In the current scenario, you should get a local exam by a specialist, get a swab test and a pap smear, and get proper treatment after the test result. The medication work better if it is received both in the oral and the vaginal route and prolonged treatment is needed to contain recurrences. Hope this helps.
