What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Progesterone And Estradiol?

I am 55 year old female that has been post menaposal for 4 years . My GYN has prescribe me 2 hormone replacements , Progesterone and Estradol for hot flashes. I have been taking them for 1 1/2 months now. I started to bleed lightly vaginally yesterday. Is this normal. Also want to metioned that my stress level is very high now due to a death in the family last week

Yes, hormone replacement may cause vaginal bleeding but same time you have to check for polyp or fibroid or infection or PID etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your gynecologist she will examine and change the treatment.
