What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Novex DS?

In April 2015 I have undergone DNC for heavy bleeding bcse of thick endometrium. All reports were normal. from that onwards I am taking Novex DS 1tab./week. For 8 months I did not get any periods. Today suddenly bleeding started. Is it my normal period? My age is 46 years

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that Ormeloxifene (Novex-DS) tablet are standard protocol guideline following treatment of Dysfunctional Uterine bleeding following DNC.

I would also tilke to tell you that side effects of tablets are Nausea, headache, rise in blood pressure, weight gain and delayed or prolonged menstrual period.

So you need not to worry about the periods and if the bleeding does not stop even after some days, you should consult with your prescribing physician for thorough checkup and rule out any other underlying condition
