i AM POST MENOPAUSAL 50 YEARS OLD ON THURSDAY NOTICED VAGINAL BLEEDING - JUST A LITTLE THEN IT STOPPED TIL FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND AGAIN TODAY - MORE THAN BEFORE, i ALSO NOTICED WHAT FEELS LIKE A LUMPY MASS - MAYBE THE CERVIX BUT IT FEELS AS IF IT IS NEARLY IN THE VAGINAL CANAL AND THE CANAL FEELS NARROW I KNOW I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR AND WILL MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY JUST AM TRYING NOT TO FREAK MYSELF OUT I DID HAVE A URETHRAL SLING PUT IN 6 MONTHS AGO COULD THAT BE THE PROBLEM
Hii, Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
your observation of having a lump there may be related to variety of medical conditions including cervical polyps , an fibroid or an vaginal abscess and yes it can be a Late inflammatory reaction caused by urethral sling which u had before 6 months but it needs thorough medical check up and investigations to spot a confirm diagnosis
as You are post menopausal and in this stage even mild vaginal bleeding is never normal
so i will strongly advise you to contact your Gynecologist, he will perform a physical examination to check for any lumps within the vagina and he may want to perform a biopsy on any masses found in the vagina to rule out other sources of the problem
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
