Hi there. I have had previous problems with bleeding while on the contraception pill and the DEPO. My dr decided to put me on a lower dose pill. I have being on Ava 20 ED for a little over a month. I have bleeding light and looks to be old blood. I also feel nauseous. I am on the pink pill and i have no idea what is wrong with me. Are you able to help me out? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your query.
YOU have changed over to AVA 20ED from depo contraception due to bleeding problem. AVa 20 ED is a combined contraceptive . & it is known to have nausea/ irregular bleeding for first couple of months. You are still on pink pill ..that is an active pill.
Please consume pill as directed at same time of day without a break.Gradually all the side effects would subcide & you will have regular periods with contraceptive protection as you wish for.
Cheer up & thanks.
