What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hello, I had a partial hysterectomy alost 5 weeks ago along with a bowel resection, and pelvic organ prolapse repair. I was feeling g good and tried to resume Intercourse again and I started bleeding bright red and today I m spotting a lot and I feel sick and In pain... could I have read opened something??

Hi I think 5 weeks is a little early to resume intercourse. You should avoid it for atleast 3 months. You should consult your doctor for examination. You may need some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. You can take some pain killer also. Hope it helps.
