What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse With Cramps And Back Pain?

Dear Doc Sumit.. My LMP was 26 April. However on 4th May I started bleeding post sex. and this happened for a few days after every time I had sex with my fiancé. I went for an ultrasound and doc found nothing. all was clear. today I have lower back pain, slight cramps, loose motions, dizzy spells, fatigue and loss of appetite. We did not use any protection. Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

Post-coital bleeding may be due to blunt force trauma inside vagina, rupture of hymen, rough sex, pelvic infection, cervical polyp etc.

Generally, bleeding (mild) stops automatically within 1 to 2 days without further need of medical treatment. However, you should take tranexamic acid drug to arrest bleeding. Local ICE-PACK compression will be quite helpful.

In addition, I suggest you to visit local gynecologist if bleeding is quite heavy or continues for more than 2 days.
Thank you.
