What Causes Urinary Tract Infection And Bladder Problems?

Hello,

I've been having an issue with my bladder for about 3 months. Back in may I believe I had a urinary tract infection but I did not seek medical attention because I just took uricalm and pills for a yeast infection and it seemed to just go away and sometimes return. As a result of that I kept taking both different pills. Back in may my discharge had a foul odor, there was blood in my urine, and my urine was cloudy. Like I said the pain was on and off but I really just tried to ignore it, but now things do not seem much better. I finally went to my doctor last week and I had a urine culture done. My doctor gave me Bactrim and my urine culture came back negative. Today, it constantly feels like I have to urinate even when I emptied my bladder about 2 minutes later. My bladder is in a lot of pain as well. When I push on my stomach/abdominal area it hurts. I do not drink a lot of water and I also wonder could that be a problem. What could be the issue I am having? What type of inflammation/infection may I have?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Respected user, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
* Your infection seems to be more of Genitourinary infection rather than
only urinary infection.
* That is related to any bacterial invasion of Genitals or urinary tract
through causative organism as bacteria / fungi ; pH imbalance of urine
by various means ; calculus disorders ; systemic issues as diabetes or
renal disorders ; prolapse of uterus etc.
* Along with urine culture in our clinic , we recommend Ultrasound
Abdomen & Pelvis with Complete blood counts & ESR , Fasting blood
sugar , Creatinine level for better precise level case study.
Hope this clears your doubt
