What Causes Urinary Retention After Partial Ileostomy?

My mother had a pelvic UT scan that shown :
myometrium shows tiny 16mm fibroid nodule in posterior wall.
This was taken a month after partial ileostomy for colon cancer and has also
developed kidney retention problem after surgery.

How long this urinary problem will prevail and also would like to know about this fibroid nodule in myometrium. Is this a symptom to be worried?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, here the detail clinical history needed, like the histopathological report of fibroid lesion (If ever done ) underlying cause of urine retention, if the fibroid lesion is not malignant then this is nothing to worry, if urinary retention is due to infection, if this is eradicated then retention would be resolved, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
