What Causes Urge Incontinence While Suffering From An Enlarged Prostate?

I am currently being treated for an enlarged prostrate, taking Rapaflo and Proscar.
Self cathing once a day to empty my bladder. Today I am needing to use the bathroom ( urinate ) every 15 minutes, with little results. Just the urge to go. No pain, tingling or bleeding, just needing to go every few minutes. Any ideas why this is happening?

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the recurrent urge to urinate indicates underlying cystitis, prostate tissue compressing the bladder neck or internal urethral meatus. I would like to assist further with the reports available with you. Do give me further chance to assist in future.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
