What Causes Unusual Yellow Vaginal Discharge With Abdominal Pain And Cramps?

For the past week or so I have been passing white/yellowish tissue (like blood clots but no blood) and I sometimes feel symptoms like cramps and minor abdominal pain. I am not on my period but this started right after my last period ended about a week and a half ago. I did start on a prescription birth control about 3 months ago to regulate my hormones. I was having an extremely painful and long period that would last more than two weeks at a time with a week break in between periods. Could the white tissue be just my body adjusting To the normal cycle?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I welcome you to HCM!

It may be due to the hormonal imbalance and readjustments the body is doing due to the treatment you are on.

It may also be due to vaginitis that may may be bacterial or fungal vaginal infection.

You need a proper consultation for in-office evaluation from a gynecologist.

Hope it helps. Need further assistance, feel free to contact me anytime.

Regards!
