What Causes Unusual Sensations And Pain In Head ?
Hi; I have an odd sensation in my head. It s been over two weeks now. I went to my GP and he told me its most likely anxiety and stress. I have gone onto a dose of anti depressants and I ve been taking them about 10 days now. The pain / pressure sensation doesn t bother me when I m sleeping but is there nearly 90 percent of the day. It s very unsettling at this point and I m wondering should I go and get a scan. I ve never had head pains or sensations like this before but have plenty of other anxiety related pains in the past. Do you think a scan is necessary? Is there anything other than relaxing and continuing on the medication that I can be doing?,Thanks

Antidepressants luke SSRIs usually takes 5 to 6 weeks to sgow affect. For better control u should start taking alprazolam 0.5 mg every day but then again problem with that is sedation. If u can still fumctuon on that daytime then i suggest u start taking it with ur antidepressant for a coupke weeks
