What Causes Unformed, Malodorous Dark Stool?

I am 18 years old my weight is aprox 8 st 8 and my height 5ft 3. i have had no real problems in terms of my medical history apart from blood clots in periods. For the past half of a year I have been going to the toilet less but have noticed my stools are black with a foul smell. they are also not always formed properly.
