HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the Grand mal epilepsy then it responds well to treatment once the patient is on proper medication then convulsion stops then it seldom comes back, if patient is having seizure then either the diagnosis is not correct or medicine is not correct, I would advise you to discuss this with doctor or go for second opinion hope this information helps.
