What Causes Umbilicus Area Pimples With Pus?

My boyfriend has pimples that have puss in them they start as red and then as white they are bigger than an average pimple and they are located around his belly button through the weeks some has spread by his stomach maybe like 2 or 3 of them spread. what is this? they are not bugging him i last read online it might be fungus cause he sweats alot around that area and he carrys hot metal and rests it around that area as well

Hi.
As per your case history your boyfriend is having furuncles.
My treatment advice is –

1. Don’t squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin given only after consulting a dermatologist.
