What causes ulcers on the roof of the mouth and muscle fatigue?

Hi, I am suffering from an acutely painful sore on the roof of my mouth at the moment, which is making it very difficult to eat or drink anything. It is also sending pain through my teeth and upper gum line on that side. I am also experiencing muscle fatigue from doing very little. I have been very tired and lacking in energy lately but the most painful symptom by far is the ulcer on the roof of my mouth. I m just wondering what could be causing it and what I should do about it?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks like there is an ulcer formation on the roof of the mouth and it is causing you pain radiating to the gum and teeth and causing painful eating and swallowing..
Excessive pain and discomfort can cause a feeling of generalized discomfort and lethargy..
So first of all consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can advise you medication like Lidocaoine gel to apply over the sore and along with it take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.
Do warm saline gargles, suck ice pops..
Take soft and bland meals and avoid any spicy and irritant meals.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi, I have extreme bloating, in the morning, when i dont eat, and obviously ten times worse when i eat anything. so much that i can barely eat. My urine is very dark and strong smelling, I drink only water, and about 2-4 litres a day. I am unable to lose weight and i weigh about 12kgs above my normal weight. I go to the gym 5 days a week, walk home from work 4 nights a week (7km). I am at my wits end trying to figure out whats wrong with me. When i eat carbohydrates i gain even more weight, its as if im insulin resistant. So i stay away from heavy carb foods, but now im finding im quite depressed and down unless i eat a bit of sugar. Then im back to the happy bubbly person i used to be. I have extremely bad breath even though i have great oral hygene. I have muscle fatigue, a sore neck all the time, and very bad circulation. If im working out on a machine my feet and legs go dead, the same if im chilling out and have my legs resting high against something, i get bad pins and needles first, almost instantly, then they go completely dead. I have a horrible spotty rash aswell around my mouth and nose. Any answers are greatly appreciated, thanks.

My husband (55 y.o.) started experiencing muscle fatigue in arms/legs two months ago. It has progressed from arms and legs to head to toe, including needing to exert increased effort to speak, breath and swallow. Symptoms are mild in the mornings and increase through the day till he feels totally exhausted in the evening and describes feeling like every move he makes is through chest deep water. He denies any pain or weakness. He also complains of occasional light tingling and slight numbness of his lips. All blood work results are normal.

My name is Denise I am a 51 year old Caucasian female. I walk a mile and work out with free weights daily. I have a restricted diet due to allergies. No gluten or soy! I sometimes have an extreme onset of muscle fatigue in my shoulders and arms, to the point that I have to stop what I m doing and let my arms hang down to my side. Shoulders have a slight burn and arms feel heavy and tingle. This is prior to working out for the day. It lasts about 2 minutes. Than I feel weak and a little shakey and my arms feel heavy?
