Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello,Please treat my question seriously. I'm male. 30 years old. Half an hour ago when I was showering I also washed my genitals and testicles with soap. When I washed the soap (from my left testicle) using water and my fingers, my fingers twitched and I suddenly got scared that I might have twisted my left testicle. [I don't mean switched the left one with the right one]. When it happen I didn't feel pain, mostly panic. From what I know the testicle is oval with its "two edges" pointing to the front of the body and to the rear. Could I have twisted it to so the "edge pointing to the front" now pointing to the rear? How can I know? do I need to go to emergency room right now to check it?
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum. If you have no pain, you need not worry. If torsion has occurred, blood supply to testes will be compromised, resulting in severe pain. Take care. Thank you.
