What Causes Twinges In Head When Having Cymbalta And Xanax?

Have been on cymbalta and xanax since about June. I am currently having little twinges in my head that I associate with withdrawl, which I have experienced with other mood meds. I am 52yr old, history of heart problems, 3 stents in chest, 2 stents in left shoulder. I weigh 165lb, 5 3 . Currently being treated for depression and anxiety. The twinges vary in intensity and frequency. Sometimes it feels like someone jiggeling my brain. It is not painful just disturbing.

The twinges in your head is, as you yourself describe, a symptom often described in both Benzo (Xanax) and SNRI (Cymbalta) withdrawal. They are not harmful, but they can be annoying. I would very much suggest that you bring this up with your doctor as soon as possible, especially since Xanax withdrawal can have possible health consequences.
