What Causes Trouble In Sleeping?

I have been hypothyroid since age 26...went through menopause around 50 and have been having sleep issues for about 6-8 yrs. I'm 58. I have tried putting iodine on the soles of my feet...it helps but it's hard to regulate. Recently started taking some iodoral....no help yet. Any other deficiencies that might be effecting my ability to go to sleep and stay asleep? I'm struggling with depression, concentration and irratability. Thank you.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Depression, anxiety, irritability etc can cause lack of sleep. But, please understand, the primary reason could be lack of physical activities and obsessive thinking. The prime reason should be addressed first and you can go for further investigation. I suggest you to engage in exercises for one hour daily, engage in other physical entertaining activities and avoid sleep in the after noon. Within a week you will see the change.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
