What Causes Trouble Focussing Post Recovery From Acoustic Neuroma Surgery?

Female, 56, recovering from Acoustic neuroma surgery, piece of tumor left on nerve for future radiation treatment. Surgery was in may, 2016. At first all was well but now when she wakes up she is fine, after awhile brain is foggy and she gets tired. If she lays down for awhile she feels better but the fog returns. Unable to work full day just half days. when she is foggy it makes work harder (accountant) as she has to think harder to do her work. Numerous follow up appointments have been fruitless to find cause .
