What Causes Tremors In The Hands?

I have developed slight tremors in my hands, transpositions in typing, inability to think of common words, headaches which are mosre frequesnt than usual(migraine sufferer)and lethargy. I have had an MRI which indicated normal. I left these errors in typiong so you could see what is happening on a daily basis. I have also been diagnosed with hearing loss which is moderate to severe. I have tinnitus which has progressed to a rather loud stage recently. I will admit that I am under stress at this time with my son living with me. He is getting a divorce which is very contentious and is suffering from depression. Give me a hint.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since your MRI brain is normal, no need to worry about brain pathology for tremors.

In my opinion, your tremors are mostly due to psychological disease. So, it is better to consult a psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions.

Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution. You may need anxiolytic drugs (Propranolol and Flunarizine combination). Avoid stress, tension, and be calm.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
