What Causes Tremors In A ADHD Suffering 9 Year Old?

My son is 9 and has been diiagnosed with ADHD . He has been on Concerta for 2 years and a few months ago supplements. Recently he has developed tremors in hi his legs when in certain positions like knees bent and foot pressed hard to the ground. He has also been diagnosed yesterday with iron and vit D deficiency . What is most likely causing the problem.

Hi, ADHD does not cause tremors on its own. Since your child has vitamin d deficiency, it appears to be the most likely cause of tremors. There are also chances of calcium deficiency in child. I would suggest you to start the child on calcium with vitamin d syrup and wait for atleast 1 month for the symptoms to subside. I hope this has helped you. Wishing your child good health.
