Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have developed tremors and dizziness over the last six weeks. It started with an ear infection and bad cold and now I nearly need a walker. My left ear has lost some hearing but I washed it out to no avail. If I suddenly get up from a chair I often fall backwards. Always backwards.
Conditions involving the inner ear can lead to dizziness and loss of balance.
It would be best for you to see your doctor or ENT doctor about these symptoms. The ear would need to be reexamined since the symptoms are persisting for this period of time.
In many cases, the symptoms resolve on their own but some persons require intervention.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Michelle Gibson James
