I found that early morning when I cough while brushing my teeth, some blood comes out... It is happening since last 4-5 months. I ignore it in the beginning but now I am concerned. Can you please help me out and suggest some action plans? ..I am not finding any weight loss or anything but above problem is conerning for me. Can you please let me know what could be the probable reasons? and do I need to worry how much for this?

Hi.
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain traces of blood in spit while brushing the teeth in the morning seems to be most probably due to infection in the gums leading to inflammation causing Gingivitis..
As the inflamed tissues has a profuse supply of premature blood vessels therefore they tend to bleed even on slight stimulation...
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluation..
He can do a scaling of your teeth and also advise you to apply gum paint over the gums and massage with it regularly..
Gargle with antiseptic mouthwash..
Do warm saline gargles..
You should use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth...

Hope this helps..

Regards.
