What Causes Traces Of Albumin And Pus Cells In Urine?

Hi, I am 25 year old male. I had trace of albumin in first morning sample of urine.It also showed 2 pus cells.I got really scared and got the second morning urine sample checked. The results were negative for both albumin and pus cells. Kindly advice.

Hi,

You have not mentioned the quantity of albumin present in your urine.
A level of 30-300 mg of urine in 24 hours of urine is called microalbuminuria and is indicative of early kidney disease while a level of more than 300 mg is indicative of the presence of kidney disease.
Steps to reduce albumin in urine are...
Control of blood pressure meticulously. Keep the target below 110/70 mm of Hg.
Control sugar meticulously.
Quit alcohol and smoking completely.
Reduction of weight and regular exercises.
Avoid medicines which damage kidneys like pain killers etc.
I would advise you to consult a nephrologist for a proper evaluation and investigations of your kidneys and then get proper treatment.
